Gifted and twice-exceptional students are an underserved and misunderstood population within clinical and school psychology. Using psycho-educational data to inform diagnosis is a key skill for all practitioners, especially given how psychologists often find themselves in leadership positions. The “gifted brain” has aspects that are quantifiably different than neurotypical brains and those differences can manifest as challenging diagnostic considerations. This presentation will inform discussions on treatment, education, diagnosis, and day-to-day living. All are welcome!
